The Role:
As an already established C# .NET developer you will be working with a friendly and enthusiastic team of developers. Because the requirements change from client to client there is new software being written continuously to compliment the already highly complex software and systems. As a result the work is not only varied and interesting but means you will be working with all the latest technologies.
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will live within commutable distance of High Wycombe, have excellent communications skills and enjoy working as part of a team. You will have developed software in a commercial environment for several years and have competency in the following:
Essential skills:
• C# .NET software development experience (.NET Framework 2.0-4.0)
• Commercial Object Oriented Programming (OOP/OOD) - Visual Studio 2003/2005/2008
• Solid commercial development experience in MS SQL Server 2000/2005/2008.
• Web (ASP.NET)
• XML
• Experience of one or more of:
o Web services
o Windows services
o Silverlight
o Win/Web forms
Highly desirable:
• Excellent understanding of complex stored procedure development and performance optimisation.
• Working experience of Agile development methodology
• Web services
• A Microsoft specialist with an interest in new technologies in both front and back office solutions – MS MCP Certification an advantage.
• Enthusiastic, energetic, innovative and ambitious with flexible and adaptable attitude.
• Keen to work in a close and friendly team who rely on and support each other.
• Significant software development experience in a business solutions environment.
